IAP Strengthens Community Bond Through Partners in Education Program

Cape Canaveral, FL – Students and educators throughout Brevard County, Florida have new resources available to them thanks to the proceeds from IAP’s annual Partners in Education Charity Golf Classic. Brevard Public Schools will allocate the money to fulfill grant requests from IAP’s partnership schools throughout the school year.

Program support this past year has included the sponsorship of reading and math incentive programs, the purchase of tech tools that teachers need to enhance learning, music program supplies, weekend food packages for needy students and Science Fair judging. 

In the coming weeks IAP will help sponsor Space Week, a program in which Brevard County 6^th graders experience highlights of space exploration at Kennedy Space Center. During past Space Weeks, students have met astronauts, viewed space-related IMAX films and participated with interactive presentations at KSC’s visitor complex. The experience is designed to encourage students to pursue studies in math, science and engineering.

“IAP Worldwide Services exemplifies the partnership spirit between a business and Brevard Public Schools,” said Dr. Brian Binggeli, Brevard Public Schools Superintendent.  “We appreciate the difference they are making in the lives of our students and teachers.” 

The Brevard Schools Foundation named IAP Worldwide Services the “2011 Brevard County Outstanding Business Partner of the Year.”  IAP also received the Florida Commissioner of Education Business Recognition Award.
