Turning the lights back on, and keeping them on.

IAP Worldwide Services provides spot, temporary, and bridge power generation capacity to meet customer needs in island or grid paralleled mode. We provide emergency disaster relief power in the continental U.S., plus Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. We have installed and maintained more than 10,000 generators at critical facilities, including more than Fifty 1 MW zone backup generators.

Grid Stability

During times of heavy power consumption, increased loads on individual elements of the electrical grid result in the risk of power-outages. IAP lessens the burden on the grid by redistributing the load on existing substation equipment, or by adding supplemental generators to handle the increased demand. In the event of actual grid failure, our solutions can also serve as a backup source of power.

Emergency Power

When nature trumps technology, we get the power running again. Our teams partner with our government agencies ahead of time, so that when a storm or other natural disaster strikes, we’re ready to act on a moment’s notice. Situations like fuel shortages can also lead to reduced power supply, which is another reason our solutions are built for rapid response.

Bridge Power

When a power plant has to shut down for routine maintenance, upgrades, or other reasons, customers still need electricity. IAP helps to minimize interruptions in service by providing alternative power supplies in these situations.
