IAP to Exhibit at Leading Military Forum

Cape Canaveral, FL—Representatives of IAP Worldwide Services will attend the 2011 AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition, the premier defense forum of the year, held October 10-12 in Washington, DC.

The Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America’s Army – Active, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees, Government Civilians, Wounded Warriors, Veterans, and family members. “America’s Army: The Strength of the Nation” is the theme of this year’s event, which will feature more than 600 exhibits and 40,000 attendees, making this the largest annual meeting and exposition in AUSA’s 61-year history.

IAP’s exhibit can be found at Booth 3013 in the Hall B Exhibit Area of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. As a leading international contractor for the Department of Defense, other government agencies, and commercial industries, IAP provides global mission support for the U.S. Army at facilities ranging from the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, Calf. to Walter Reed Army Medical Center to numerous locations throughout the Middle East. IAP also has been recognized for its commitment to employ veterans and military spouses, with a top 20 ranking on the 2011 GI Jobs magazine Top 100 Military-Friendly Employers list. Additionally, the company was just named to the 20 Military Spouse-Friendly Employers list for 2012 by Military Spouse magazine.

Among the highlights of this year’s AUSA meeting is a speech by the Honorable Leon Panetta, U.S. Secretary of Defense, who will address attendees from 8 to 9 am EST on Wednesday, October 12, in the main ballroom. Numerous forums during AUSA also will focus on support for America’s military families, a key interest for IAP, which provides Morale, Recreation and Welfare support activities at various locations around the globe.
