    NSC Recognizes IAP with Safety Leadership Award

    Cape Canaveral, FL – IAP Worldwide Services, Inc. announced that the Company’s international headquarters in Cape Canaveral, FL, is the recipient of a National Safety Council (NSC) Safety Leadership Award for achieving five consecutive years without an occupational injury or illness resulting in employee lost work days or death.

Working safely is the foundation of our partnerships with our employees, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers, and we want every employee and every person the Company touches to finish every workday injury free.”

    The Cape Canaveral headquarters office has worked 2,000+ days without a recordable incident and approximately 2,500 days without a lost-time incident. “We continually encourage our employees to focus on incident prevention, ensure they are well trained, having the competency to recognize and reinforce safe behaviors,” says Bill Smith, Global Director of Environmental, Safety, and Health. Our focus has resulted in a strong corporate safety culture that permeates the entire company and carries over into employees’ personal lives.”
