    Tom Crowder Named Vice President for Army and Air Force Programs

    Cape Canaveral, FL – IAP Worldwide Services, Inc. announced that Tom Crowder has been named Vice President for U.S. Army and Air Force Programs within the Company’s Base Operations and Support Services (BOSS) business sector.

    With more than 24 years of operational experience and an established track record in business development and strategic planning, Crowder will have oversight responsibility for IAP’s Army and Air Force Programs including Hanscom AFB, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Fort Meade, Fort Gordon, MacDill AFB, and Fort Irwin.

    “Tom has broad global experience, and his leadership of our Army and Air Force Programs will add much value as we continue to support our war fighters and grow and diversify our business into new geographies and markets,” said Dave Jackson, Vice President of Base Operations and Support Services (BOSS).

    Since joining IAP a year ago, Tom has served as Director of Strategic Planning, supporting the Company’s executive leadership and all three business segments. Previously, Crowder served as the Vice President for Operations with BHC Global where he was responsible for overall operations, management, strategy execution, and process improvements.

    Within a 20-year time period, Crowder held key leadership and management positions with Ajilon Managed Services, Getronics, Cap Gemini Ernst and Young, and Baker Support Services. During this timeframe he was responsible for various BOSS and O&M contracts with Raytheon, EG&G, Martin Marietta, Oak Ridge National Labs, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and other State, Federal, and DOD organizations.

    Crowder served in the U.S. Air Force as a Civil Engineer with duties including Command Engineer, Operations Officer, and Chief of Construction. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University.
